Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is a detergent typically used in cell lysis reagents and other protein solubilization buffers. Traditional methods for SDS removal include prolonged dialysis, anion exchange chromatography, affinity columns or and acetone precipitation. By comparison, the SDS-Out Precipitation Reagent is relatively easy to use and provides excellent protein recovery. |
